The CdA takes the best elements from a traditional CX bike, like large clearances, disc brakes & low overall weight.	An escape route via the road-less-travelled or the near-perfect commuter with disc brakes and full length mudguard capabilities?	Don’t let the ‘gravel’ description deceive you though, this bike is capable of much more. For 2023 we’ve moved to a wider tyre from Vittoria that makes the bike even more capable.

The heart of the bike remains a complete Reynolds 725 frameset, defined by its reliability wherever you ride. We have however made a few updates to add to the Croix de Fer's versatility. The ability to run up to a 45mm rear tyre and a 50mm front tyre on the provided 700c rims increase the all-terrain ability of the Croix. If you want to experiment with 650B wheels, you could run up to a 44mm rear tyre and a 50mm front tyre.	Talking of the paint job each bike is Paint speckled by hand and as such each one is individual in its pattern	Vagabond is a ‘monstercross’ bike in the loosest sense of the term; tthe illegitimate lovechild of a road and mountain bike, a ‘frankenbike’ that has long been the staple of shed tinkerers, the result of many an experimental ‘I wonder if…’ spare parts box builds.

Tube profiles are carefully selected and designed to give the new double-butted titanium platform a stiff and efficient pedalling platform, retaining the same connected feel and 'in-saddle' comfort for which the steel Croix de Fer is famed. The fully oval 28.6/35mm toptube and cleverly swaged seat tube are all engineered to deliver high levels of comfort.
